Fashion Show Entry Information

Please complete a separate entry form for each item to be shown. Make copies of this form as needed. Mail your entry form(s) by no later than Monday, August 14, 2006 (postmarked), to allow for preparation of the program. Entry forms will be accepted with garments at the Conference but this may not allow time for your information to be included in the program.

Fashion Show Categories

An award will be made for each category and a Peoples’ Choice Award will also be given.

The Fashion Show Categories are:

1. Garment inspired by what I learned at MAWS 2004 “MAWS on the Mountain”
2. Garment inspired by the MAWS 2006 Conference Theme, “A Thread Runs Through US”
3. Garment inspired by our State, Montana
4. Best Use of Color
5. Most Creative
6. Plain and Simple

Fashion items may be woven, knit, felted, or incorporate other fiber techniques.

Garments may be checked in at the Conference Registration Tables on Thursday, August 24, between 3:00 – 6:00 p.m., and on Friday, August 25, between 7:30 – 8:30 a.m. If you wish to mail your garment prior to the Conference, it must be received by Karla Long at the address above no later than Monday, August 14, 2006. If you are mailing your item(s), you are responsible for both shipping and insurance costs.

If your garment is to be shipped back to you after the MAWS Conference, please include the following information attached inside your garment, on the shipping box, and on your entry form:

The Missoula Weavers Guild is not responsible for the cost of shipping, insurance, loss of or damage to your item during shipping or while it is at the MAWS 2006 Conference.
