A Weaver's Garden

A Weavers Gardin  MAWS 2002

The Missoula Weaver's Guild was your guide through a conference blossoming with a wide variety of demonstrations, workshops and seminars. Interests in weaving, spinning and dyeing were cultivated by Pat Bullen of Bullen's Wullens as our Keynote speaker and workshop instructor. Peggy Osterkamp's workshops and super-seminar promise were a rewarding harvest for those weaver's looking to stretch and enhance their skills. In addition, many local artists shared their talents with us over this 3 day period.

Workshops, seminars and super-seminars ran simultaneously - with one pre-conference workshop offered by Mountain Colors. Workshops ran 6-8 hours; super-seminars 3-4 hours; and seminars 1 and a half to 2 hours. Days were full of instruction, information and fun!

The Guild Booths Theme was "Let Monet Be Your Inspiration" and the Spin-In was held on Saturday evening - in the Commercial Booth area.

Thanks for joining us!

About Missoula...
Known as the Garden City, Missoula is home of the University of Montana. For a bird's eye view of the area, you can climb to the 'M' on the side of Mount Sentinel behind the UM campus. Missoula is also a major medical and retail center. The community takes pride in the first, hand-carved wooden carousel assembled in more than 60 years.
