Do You Believe In Magic?

Commercial Booth One of the results of an effective workshop is that after just a couple of hours of exposure to a new fiber or technique, possibilities for projects seem to leap out from the books, bags and racks upon the next trip through the vendor's area. And none of the vendors will refuse a request for information, instruction, or suggestions regarding their products... they are some of the friendliest business folks you'll find.
Vendors from Montana and the Northwest offered a bounty of raw fiber, yarns, books, equipment, along their expertise, to conference attendees.


The guild booths were truly inspirational. It is here that the benefits of belonging to an organized and active group can be seen. Block weaves, color studies, network drafting and recycling textiles were some of the topics which had occupied guild members throughout the year. Each of the Montana guilds was invited to assemble a display in order featuring an area of interest from the previous year. Color Gamp

These two garments were among the merchandise that vendor Cathy Miller from Hardin, MT brought with her to the commercial area. Her business, Sandstone Passage, specializes in yardage and items produced in Guatemala.
